The report showed that exports declined by 11.6% to $4.2 billion in February 2026, down from $4.7 billion a year earlier.
Kouchouk affirmed the government’s openness to political and national forces, stressing that their proposals will be reflected in the country’s economic path.
In a statement issued on Monday, CAPMAS said Egyptian exports fell by 20.3% to $3.6 billion in January 2026, compared with $4.5 billion in the same month a year earlier.
In volume terms, total agricultural exports increased by about 10.5%, or nearly 800,000 tons, reaching a record 9.5 million tons for the first time, up from more than 8.6 million tons a year earlier.
Exports declined by 1.1%, totaling $4.17 billion in October, compared to $4.22 billion in the same month last year.
